Early Learning Is Playing

From the moment your child steps into one of our nursery settings, we want them to feel right at home, relaxed and ready to play and learn. We believe all early years learning should be play-based, which is why we adopt the Early Years Foundation Stage play-based framework to give advantage and opportunities to all individuals. Here is what you can expect from all our nursery settings.

Fully Qualified And Friendly Staff

All of our staff are fully qualified and friendly childcare practitioners who focus on delivering the EYFS framework to all children.

Parents & Carers Partnerships

We understand some children might feel unsettled during their first few weeks in nursery, which is why we welcome and encourage parents and carers to stay and help out for as long as their child needs to settle down.

Settings Open 51 Weeks

With the exception of Christmas and the New Year, all our nursery settings operate for 51 weeks of the year, allowing flexibility with your time and schedule.

A Sprinkle Of History

It all began 40 years ago in 1983. The founders Les Briscoe and Jane Weir had previously studied for and secured their NNEB childcare practitioners and degrees at Liverpool John Moores University and had setup their first nursery. The foundations for Maryvale Nurseries were born. The vision was and remains simple. To ensure the best care and education is given to all children in settings where they feel safe and comfortable to do so.

We have taken on and cared for hundreds of children and early learners from a number of young age groups in our nurseries over the years and our support and dedication to each and every one of them has been second to none and this philosophy with our current groups still remains. Our highly experienced teams across our nursery settings work closely together to ensure children reach their maximum potential.
